SEED TO SHARE GARDEN™
GARDEN CREW VOLUNTEERS
Our Seed to Share Garden™ GARDEN CREW volunteers are a special part of our team! We bring together individuals, families, and organizations to collaboratively grow vegetables for local food banks in our universally accessible raised bed one-acre garden network.

As of May 3rd, 2022, we are back digging in the dirt and planting, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting and beyond! Interested in checking it out? Sign-up for one of our volunteer times and complete our Activity Waiver.

GARDEN CREW Age & Supervision Requirements:

*Volunteers must be 14+ years of age.
*Volunteers ages 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years of age.
*Volunteers 5 years of age and younger are welcome but require direct supervision at all times.
*ALL Volunteers must complete an Activity Waiver (see below).

GARDEN CREW Volunteer Days:
*Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9am - 12noon.
*ALL Volunteers must attend our Kick-Off Huddle @ 9am sharp.
*Volunteers stay for a half hour, hour or anytime they can! 

WEATHER CONDITIONS & Volunteering:
*Volunteering is offered in light rain/drizzling conditions. If significant rain/thunder/lightning is forecasted, volunteering will be cancelled...Otherwise wear your rain jacket & boots (or join us on another sunny day instead)!

SEED TO SHARE GARDEN™
GARDEN GUIDE VOLUNTEERS
Interested in becoming a volunteer leader in our Seed to Share Garden™? Apply for our GARDEN GUIDE program! Accepted candidates receive classroom training (two, 2-hour sessions held monthly) and 6 hours of hands-on gardening instruction to become a GARDEN GUIDE. Then GARDEN GUIDES are encouraged to volunteer weekly or monthly in the Seed to Share Garden™ to help lead our GARDEN CREW volunteers!
*We will start digging & training GUIDES again in June 2022!
  • Ideal candidates:
  • Strong interest in gardening, helping others and sharing their knowledge with others.
  • Must be 14 years of age and up.
